The Evening's Program:
- Arthur Phillips, reading from The Tragedy of Arthur, a novel named one of 2011's best books by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, and many others
- Darin Strauss, reading from The National Book Critics Circle Award-winning memoir, Half a Life
- Boris Fishman, reading an excerpt from A Replacement Life, a novel about a failed journalist who starts forging Holocaust-restitution claims for old Soviet Jews in New York
- Vica Miller, reading from Inga's Zigzags, a novel about a young New Yorker who goes to Moscow to launch a business and instead finds herself falling in love with two women
