Peter Marcus teaches psychology at Borough of Manhattan Community College/CUNY in Tribeca. His first collection of poems Dark Square was published in 2012 by Pleasure Boat Studio: A Literary Press in New York City. His poems have apeared in ÄGNI, Antioch Review, Boulevard, Iowa Review, New England Review, Ploughshares, Poetry, Shenandoah, The Southern Review, Southwest Review, Witness and Yellow Silk and in the anthologies: Before We Have Nowhere To Stand‏: Poems on Israel and Palestine and in I Go To Ruined Places: Contemporary Poems in Defense of Global Human Rights, both on Lost Horse Press. He has three travels essays ucoming in the Rotten Vacations Anthology. He was a recipient of a Connecticut State Arts Grant and a Vermont Studio Center Fellowship.
