Zeeva Bukai
 
Zeeva Bukai was born in Israel and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She was a 2014-2015 fellow at the Center for Fiction in NYC. Her work has appeared in WomenArts Quarterly Journal, Calyx, Lilith Magazine, The Jewish Quarterly, Heeb Magazine and elsewhere. Her novel, The Street of Shoes was a finalist in the 2016 novel contest at Autumn House Press. A chapter from the novel she is currently at work on won honorable mention in Glimmer Train’s Family Matters Contest. She holds an MFA from Brooklyn College and is an Academic Support Specialist at Empire State College.
